The Situation
Owner Ken Tynes contacted us with the concern that his profession was being misrepresented online by companies who were not legitimate locksmith professionals. The challenge for Ken was cutting through the online clutter of bogus websites which were siphoning away his market share. In order to succeed, he realized that he needed to position himself as a legitimate company amidst a sea of impostors.
How We Helped
One of the key factors to building trust online is to provide additional information from accredited sources to establish credibility. We not only redesigned Ken’s existing website to look more professional, but we included a real photo of Ken, testimonials, links to Angie’s List, the Better Business Bureau and several other well known professional associations. All of these elements work in tandem to assure site visitors that Midlands Lock & Key is a legitimate company which is backed by real people.
